This is my first project in UE4 since switching from CryEngine. It was a great learning cycle of setting up complex shaders, understanding how UE4 baked lighting works and how the general workflow is done to get it all game-ready.
I've always been a fan of the direction and set design of the 1980 film "The Shining" by Stanley Kubrick with all its subtle weirdness in the environment, surreal often ghostly lighting and set inconsistencies hence I choose this subject for my practice.
Many thanks to all my homies and a special thanks to Ben Keeling and Ashley McKenzie for their invaluable feedback and technical help.
