The Overlook Hotel -Materials, Assets and Technicalities-

Here is a breakdown of the various materials, assets and setup I've created for the Overlook Hotel. All materials are instances of a single master shader with the exception of the translucent glass which required a special shader. Most materials drive of the same type with often a simple Albedo colour change. Some tiling materials blend with themselves with a slight colour and roughness change to introduce variety. All this keeps the scene running real-time and the cost very low.

Like I mentioned in the project itself, the lighting setup is very simple which helps with maintaining, baking and tweaking. The scene uses baked lighting with the exception of the reflections as they are raytraced.
