This is my second project in UE4. The Overlook Hotel's Lobby from the 1980 Stanley Kubrick film "the Shining" (One of my favourite films). Technically I started this whole thing in CryEngine a few years ago but I migrated to UE4. I've learned a lot from this both artistically (along the lines of typically Kubrick) and technically, getting the grips with UE4. I tried to push for a simple technical setup with constructing myself a single master shader that does everything I require (along the lines of current game development) and simple but effective lighting. There's a skylight in the scene which projects a HDRI image, no more than 4 keylights and 2 support lights to boost the really dark areas slightly. I opted for using RTX Reflections so I didn't need to fiddle with accurate cubemap placement. Thanks for looking and please leave any comment or ask any questions!
